2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 cup chicken broth
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the garlic, pepper, oregano, rosemary, sage, soy sauce, water and mushrooms. Mix well.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and brown on both sides. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
Remove from oven and transfer to a platter and top and bottom with mushrooms, chicken broth and mushrooms. Top with sliced mushrooms.
