1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 large marshmallows
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease or line a 9 inch pie pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Beat into the creamed mixture until well blended. Mix the salt, marshmallows, flour and remaining 1/2 cup sugar until well blended. Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean.
