4 (1/2 ounce) slices white bread
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 fresh green onions, chopped
3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 pinch paprika
water to cover
Combine the bread, olive oil, garlic, Oregano, green onions, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a small bowl. Cover, and marinate in a warm place between 2-3 hours.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Place the bread scraps on the prepared grill. Grill from low to medium high until the surface of the paper seems almost sand black, about 5 minutes. Transfer the scraps to a medium-sized bowl and marinate overnight.
Return in the morning, remove the marinade, and remove steak. Serve at room temperature.
