1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jalapeno pepper, seeded and seeded
Place refried beans in a blender or food processor or blender in separate large batches, until the beans are completely coated. Reserve one bowl for each coated bean; carefully press each bean into the loosely packed cloth and discard leftover wrapper.
Return unused rolled bean mixture to the blender with the sour cream, cheese, and jalapeno pepper; blend until smooth and creamy. Add more to cover beans, if necessary. Chill in refrigerator for approximately 60 minutes, or until firm. Serve hot or cold.
