Candy-Peach Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

2 (18.5 ounce) packages Tuscan Process

2 cups white sugar

2 tablespoons butter

6 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons corn syrup

20 maraschino cherries, crushed

6 green candies, crushed

8 candied fruit, quartered (optional)

8 cups mini marshmallows

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Juice of one orange for garnish

Directions

In a medium saucepan, warm sugar, butter and oil until mixture is bubbly. Stir in corn syrup and light syrup pieces. Cook over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Reduce heat to low (high 10 to 12 degrees F) and stir in cherries. Bring mixture to a rolling boil; remove from heat and stir in green candies, crushed candies, marshmallows and vanilla extract. Remove mixture from heat.

Pour syrup mixture over pie; garnish with orange slice.
