Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 1/2 cups milk

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

2 tablespoons butter, softened

2 tablespoons white sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch pie pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and milk; beat until well blended. Stir in the pecans, walnuts and pecans. Mix in the chocolate mixture.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 70 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven to wire rack. Cool pie completely before cutting into 1 inch squares.
