1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
1 cup finely chopped celery
27 sheets white sheet cheese
3/4 teaspoon dried sage
5 eggs
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vegetable oil (or as needed)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 pounds fresh mushrooms, sliced
In a medium saucepan, combine lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion, salt, jalapeno, celery and mushrooms. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove cheese, serve warm or cool from oven. Should cheese spread out and harden, reheat and chill to help wring.
