Baked Hawaiian Clam Soup Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup chopped clams

3 tablespoons water

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

2/3 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons molasses

1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine butter, clams and water. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until clams are pink. Stir in the onion, garlic and rosemary; reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in salt, pepper, green onions, olive oil, salt, molasses, parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, cinnamon and chicken stock. Reduce heat to medium and simmer.
