1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground white sugar
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup olive oil
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
In a large saucepan simmer beef and garlic powder together. Stir in sugar, chili powder, oregano, kosher salt, parsley, basil, oregano, olive oil and tomato sauce. Place in simmering pot. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer slowly for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is tender.
