Strawberry Syrup Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O mix

3 cups boiling water

6 eggs

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder

2 cups milk

1/2 teaspoon butter flavored extract

1 cup crushed ice

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F.

COMBINE gelatin, boiling water, eggs, oil, and vanilla in large bowl. Stir 1 cup sugar into gelatin mixture; stir until mixed. Gradually pour into prepared pan.

BAKE in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until set. Cool completely before cutting into 1/4 inch squares. Garnish with crushed ice.

This recipe was too bland for me. There were strange spectra of cardamom thrown in from time to time, but it was unintentional and definitely not intentional. It is so incredibly easy to make and I would totally make it again. When I make curries, I often use a combination of light cream and heavy cream, but this was simply not enough for my taste.
