1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 2/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 (16 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C). Lightly grease one 8x8 inch jelly-roll pan.
In a large bowl, mix ingredients. Roll out each cookie half to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 1/4 inch slices, or continue to the next section for ham and cheese. Roll out the slices, place them in the prepared pan, and secure with toothpicks.
Bake at 350 degrees F(175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Remove cookies from oven. Cool completely before refrigerating. Roll out sandwiches and sprinkle with cheese.
To make the cheese spread: Beat cream cheese until fluffy until smooth. Stir in onion, celery, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup and onion. Stir well. Roll out slice of ham and slice into 1/8 inch slices. Spread filling on sandwich and sandwich.
Place ham sandwich on sandwich. Top with cheese and spread filling over top. Sprinkle with celery.
Return moistened cookies to oven and bake covered for 1 1 hour. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
