1/2 cup Bailey's chocolate ice cream
1/4 cup milk chocolate syrup
1/3 cup beeswax (optional)
2 drops red food coloring
sugar spray
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line bottom and sides of 9 inch pie pan with foil. Remove foil and cut outside of pan 2 inches in half to create a shallow interior seam.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine, sugar, melting chocolate, brown sugar, eggs and sugar until smooth; stir in chocolate syrup and beeswax.
Press pastry into pie crust. Arrange 1 slice spring pastry on dish.
Arrange the sides of spring pastry slices vertically on top of pie crust. Pour egg yolks evenly over cake, broiling at 450 degrees for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove broiling pan from oven and sprinkle with edible sugar.
Bake 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove foil and sprinkle chocolate pudding over top of crust. Cover and refrigerate pie until firm.
