1 pound lean ground beef
1/3 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (14.5 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (10 ounce) can tomato paste with onion
2 (8 ounce) packages frozen sliced mushrooms, thawed
2 cups tomato paste
1 tablespoon white sugar
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, whole corn, tomato paste and oil. Mix thoroughly, then refrigerate or freeze.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Using an inverted spoon, spoon meat mixture into a large meatball mold or drumstick shape. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until well done. Drain excess fat and discard.
