1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup beer
2 large potatoes, quartered
3 large potatoes, quartered
1 (10.5 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (5 ounce) can beer
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1/2 cup green wine
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, onion and beer. Mix thoroughly. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until meat is well done.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Pour the beer mixture over the ribs and potatoes. Sprinkle with the tomato paste, onion soup mix, crushed tomato and orange zest, and marjoram. Place a fresh layer of potatoes over the ribs, and then the tomatoes. Arrange the potatoes and tomatoes on top of the meat mixture.
Lightly grease the grill grate. Grill burgers on both sides about 2 hours, or until juices run clear.
