Chicken with Rice Recipe

Ingredients

1(10 ounce) package rolled chicken breast halves

1/2 cup white vinegar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon crushed garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/8 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon dried sage

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup raisins

Directions

Place chicken pieces in a large baking dish. Pour vinegar over chicken pieces. Cover chicken and allow to marinate for at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a heavy saucepan, combine flour, garlic powder, oregano, horseradish, basil, sage, eggs and raisins. Mix together, and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture is thickened.

Remove chicken from vinegar and coat with flour mixture.

Place chicken pieces in a 9-inch skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown on both sides. Serve with sauce.
