1 (10 ounce) package yellow cake mix with cream cheese
1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped parsley
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried sage
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 (32 ounce) can evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake cake mix according to package directions and sprinkle with chopped maraschino cherries, chopped celery, chopped parsley, chopped onions and chopped sea salt.
In a medium bowl, mix together butter, olive oil and evaporated milk. Spread evenly over cake mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
