3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh ginger root
1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
1/8 cup chopped fresh basil
1/8 cup chopped fresh sage
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
Melt butter in a large bowl. Stir in onions and ginger. Stir in oregano, basil, sage, salt, Worcestershire sauce and sugar.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place crab meat in a shallow dish or shopping bag. Place 1/2 cup of the crab mixture in the center of each crab. Spread crab mixture over each piece of crab. Place pieces of the bread on top of the mixture, and spread the remaining crab mixture on top of the bread.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until not sticking. Remove from oven and let cool.
For the dressing: In a large saucepan over medium heat, cream together butter, onion, ginger, oregano, basil, sage, salt, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Stir briefly. Pour over crab mixture and toss.
