Got this for Christmas, and to good results. The tool is very well made, and solidly built. I had a sheet of Culinary Parafinité which I used. I also used Olive oil instead of shortening, and a couple of grinds from my pepper mill. I used this to lightly toast the bagel before testing. The baggies turned out very well; crispy, and savoury. If I made it again, I would reduce the butter to a little less than 1/2 cup, and use plain old butter. I did press my buns well; they turned out airy and sweet.

I would have given this 5 stars, but I had to doctor it slightly. The chopped chocolate chips/disco latte were not enough, so I only used half biscuit crumbles. The chopped pecans were also pretty thin, so I ended up making pad thias & molding thias & breaking them into pieces. Still pretty good, though.

I really liked this bread. it was simple to make too- and I felt quite accomplished. ;) the only thing is... I thought, there is no way this amount of dough can make 4 loaves. So I decided to make only 2 and to store the second one in a ziplock bag. It would have been perfect.... but I didn't take into account the fact that larger loaves require more baking time. So my first loaf took about 25 minutes to rise. Then my second and third loaves took about an hour to bake. This recipe is great- simple and has great flavour. I will definitely make this again.
