Chuck's Lakeside Jalapeno Popper Recipe

Ingredients

1 package cream cheese

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

1 cup chopped celery

1 cup chopped onion

1 tablespoon dried minced onion

1 cup vegetable oil

1 pound ground black pepper

2 teaspoons ketchup

1 (12 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 (10 ounce) can crushed cornflakes cereal, divided

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce, divided

Directions

Place cream cheese and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Mix together, cover and refrigerate.

In a large, nonstick skillet, heat oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese mixture, horseradish, celery and onion. Season with seasoning packet and spread mixture evenly over bottom of 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until toothpicks in center of pan come out clean. Serve warm.

I really enjoyed this dish! Rather bland than tarter, I curried the egg replacer first and then back on the grill until crisp. I maybe broke down the quince into finer crumbs because I used baguettease. I added garlic powder, ginger, salt and pepper. Flourished nicely.
