2 1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup bourbon
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
28 blueberries
In a medium saucepan, combine milk, lemon juice, bourbon, white sugar, brown sugar, orange juice, vanilla extract, butter and lemon zest. Heat, stirring to blend, over medium heat, until bubbles form at edges of cool glass. Remove from heat. Pour drink into waxed or metal bowls, and allow to cool completely, adding liqueur or milk slowly as needed. Serve at room temperature.
