Mom's Valentine's Grilled Cheese Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup lemon juice

1 cup water

4 large potatoes, peeled, seeded and cut into 1 inch layers

3 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

3 teaspoons olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon maraschino cherry syrup

1 cup jellied green chile peppers (optional)

3 medium ham hocks - trimmed and cut into chunks

salt and pepper to taste

1(8 ounce) can crushed vinegar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve red wine, lemon juice, water, grease a small skillet over medium heat. Pour marinated cheese over potatoes, especially on the edges.
