2(8 ounce) can French-fried onions in oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 pack egg substitute
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
Place onions in a large skillet. Cook over medium high high heat until golden brown. Reduce heat to medium-low.
Stir garlic powder, salt and onion into onions, ensuring that the garlic goes into the onions; cook approximately 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until all garlic is removed.
Pour the egg substitute into the skillet. Simmer approximately 3 minutes until egg is dissolved. Mix soy sauce, honey and remaining garlic powder, stirring to thoroughly coat. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cornbread is well blended with corn.
