1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon butter
1 3/4 cups milk
1 large orange, juiced
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine flour, brown sugar, egg, butter and milk in small bowl, mixing well. Stir in orange juice. Beat in confectioners' sugar. Spread mixture on bottom and sides of greased or disposable 9x13 inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown. Cool slightly, brush with powdered sugar glaze. Bake for another 2 minutes, or until solid. Remove from pan to wire rack. Dust with confectioners' sugar and sprinkle with powdered sugar to dust top. Refrigerate until serving time.
This is amazing. I made this for a gathering of 16 and another of 21. Everyone loved it and they all asked for the recipe. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
