1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder mix
3/4 cup rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and salt. Beat in the egg and 1 1/2 cups flour. Stir in the baking powder, baking soda, baking powder mix and rolled oats. Drop by small spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool for two minutes on baking sheet before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
