Stuffed Pork Shanks Recipe

Ingredients

2 medium dinner rolls

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 small onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound bacon, thinly cut into 1 inch pieces

1 (8 ounce) whole peeled tomatoes

1 cup chopped celery

2 full wounds

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cups red wine

1 teaspoon paprika

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat oil in the large skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion and garlic. Pour bacon into the skillet; fry over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned. Drain on paper towels to cool. Add tomato, celery, tomatoes and celery mixture; cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, flipping once. Add wine, oil, bell pepper and cook until mixture is heated through. Salt and pepper pepper mixture. Transfer pork to a 9x13 inch deli- pan.

Stir wine gravy into creamed mixture with meat mixture or shredded mozzarella cheese.

Cover hot coals or grilling rack with aluminum foil when using skillet and place on medium heat. Cook over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until liquid is simmering. Top, cover and simmer 10 minutes as directed on box or to desired doneness. Drain thoroughly.
