1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup beer
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup sliced red peppers
1 pound pork chops, trimmed and cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add mushrooms and salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring constantly, until mushrooms are tender.
Remove pork chops and onion from water. Place them in saucepan, and boil slowly over medium heat until both are tender. Remove from heat and drain. Mix mushrooms with beer and mushrooms with saucepan. Sprinkle with sliced mushrooms, mushrooms, sliced mushrooms, red peppers, pork chops and onion. Cover, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.
Mix remaining ingredients (water, mushrooms, onion, sugar, nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, garlic powder and salt) into the prepared pan. Pour over the pork and vegetables. Heat all ingredients through. Serve with cooked rice.
