Waiter's Pie Recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs

2 fluid ounces milk

1 pinch salt

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 (11 ounce) can frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and butter until smooth. Gradually beat in the vanilla. Stir in the brown sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda and whipped topping. Pour mixture into pie crust. Place on serving platter.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, turning pie every 20 minutes. Chill in refrigerator while serving.
