1 (16 ounce) package Brie cheese
1/3 cup margarine, softened
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium saucepan combine Brie cheese, margarine, water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese and 1/3 cup butter. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove cheese mixture from heat. Drizzle melted butter over hors d'oeuvre, leaving 1/3 cup of mixture in cheese-stuffed brie. Secure the top and sides of brie with toothpicks and seal edges with kitchen twine.
Good flavor. I used the hot dogs with bacon, it was very good but I would have doubled the cream cheese and used my rolling pin to crush the onions.
