1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed berries, thawed
8 candied cherries, halved
2 cups sliced almonds
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup milk
In a medium saucepan or saucepan, combine mixed berries, cherries, almonds, celery and salt; add to a small amount of 1 cup of water by the teaspoons until dissolved. Bring to a boil. Heat for approximately 1 minute. Remove from heat. Mix in butter, milk and 1 cup of water. Pour mixture into pie crusts. Chill for at least 15 minutes.
