The Best Strawberry Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

2 quarts fresh strawberries

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup white sugar

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread 1/2 cup of the strawberries over the bottom of a 12 inch springform pan.

Dir the peanut butter in a medium bowl. Stir in the sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Pour the remaining liquid over the strawberries.

Pour the whipped topping over the strawberries. Place the pie on a larger serving pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until custard has set and top is golden. Cool before serving.

so it is almost christmas and I have not made any pies yet, so I was looking for something fast, easy and good. this was perfect I also melted a third bowl of buttermilk and 3 cups of strawberries to make something quick and easy. I did this in a very little casserole dish I put the strawberries in the bottom and then sprayed the pie crust with buttercream to make it look nice and shiny. I then filled the crust with about 3/4 c chopped walnuts, 1/4 c chopped walnuts, 1/4 c chopped blueberries and then filled the strawberries and buttermilk with about 1 cup of strawberries. I then filled the crust with about 3/4 c chopped walnuts and then sprinkled the top with walnuts. this turned out perfect~~~
