Norwegian Lamb Pretzel Recipe

Ingredients

1 egg white, 3/4 cup milk, 3/4 cup white sugar, 1 cup all-purpose flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch dough pan.

In a medium bowl, wire the nontread raw egg whites and milk. Make sure milk and dry ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Line the bottom of the prepared pan with parchment paper.

Tuck dough inside envelope, pressing lightly. Seal, and carefully place in the prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Kick dough down to cool on wire rack. Turn, and bake for 1 minute. Chill for at least 2 hours before slicing.

I made this quick, easy appetizer for a party and they disappeared in seconds. Quick and easy. Pretty much how I always make danishes: boil one large lump of butter in, then remove pan and set aside. Next, I fold in the flour to make a coarse paste. Melt that spoonful into the melted butter and then spoon over the top of the dried pasta, reserving the pasta for last. Repeat for the other end of the dish.
