Chocolate Blossoms Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 tablespoons baking powder

4 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Melt butter in a large bowl with cream of tartar. Left over from a recipe from another cookbook, mix in sugar, eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and flour. Beat into butter mixture. Mix white chocolate chunks with cream of tartar mixture. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 22 minutes, or until center of cookies is almost clear. Cool completely before transferring cookies to wire racks.
