1 cup pure maple syrup
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
5 tablespoons maple whiskey
8 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 cup chopped black walnuts
sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cherries
In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, evaporated milk, maple whiskey and flour. Bring to a boil, continue stirring and simmer over medium heat for approximately 10 minutes.
Stir in nuts and attempt to mix before using with syrups.
