1/3 cup melted butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
Melt butter and brown both sides of salted fruit in a small saucepan. Rub together sugar and butter. Remove from heat and stir in sliced bananas.
Fruit hearts will be very sticky. Choose a color (aubergine, chili, pimento, etc.) and place on prepared sheet to set. Chill 1 hour or until set.
