1 cup Brevillea rice
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup plain yogurt
1 egg white, beaten
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a medium-sized (8 1/2 inch) or smaller round baking pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together Brevillea and whole-wheat flour. Add water as needed to keep mixture from sticking. Mix in the two cups of water and the 2 teaspoons of ground black pepper.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from the pan. In a small bowl, whisk egg white, lemon juice and lemon rind from yogurt until smooth and thick.
