Mochi Chicory Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups water

3 cups uncooked white rice

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 tablespoons white sugar

1 teaspoon diced onion

1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger

Directions

In a saucepan bring water and rice to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in water and soy sauce until heat is reduced.

Stir in oil and sugar; mix together and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in ginger and mixed fruit. Pour into a serving bowl and chill for one hour. Serve hot or cold.
