1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons ketchup
1/4 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 pounds bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Melt margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and mustard. Pour in ketchup, vinegar, eggs and beef bouillon granules. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer just long enough for 1/2 cup mixture to come to a full rolling boil. Serve hot or cold.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Bake pie slices 1 hour in the preheated oven or until golden brown. Remove from oven, leaving toothpicks in pan. Place on sauce and sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce over pastry. Cover, and let stand overnight.
