1 (12 ounce) package or package frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup banana slices
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup pureed apples
1 cup bananas
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease two 9-inch round baking pans.
Beat the banana slices, milk, eggs, vanilla and lemon zest into an ice cream maker. Mix together while mixing.
Place one banana slice on each bottom of prepared pans. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top of the banana slice starts to crackle. Flip the slices after 20 minutes; the best you can aim for is to have one crackle per slice. Let cool for a few minutes, then press the crackle into the bottom of each loaf. Keep warm; slice into bite-size pieces. Serve warm or at room temperature.
