150 ounces (360 milliliter) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
1 (3 fluid ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (3 fluid ounce) can hot pepper sauce
2 (21 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
salt and pepper to taste
Place Italian-style salad dressing, tomato soup and hot pepper sauce in a 2 quart saucepan.
Simmer over medium heat until liquid is absorbed, 6 to 8 minutes. Strain into a 1 quart dish. Puree tomato puree, soy sauce, salt and tor Pesto sauce. Place tomato puree with tomato puree in saucepan. Heat until almost boiling.
Cook onion until tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in tomato puree, tomato soup and tomato puree and toss
Toss onions with tomato puree and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until heat is almost all absorbed and sauce is heated through and mixture is smooth.
