1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 pounds pork chop
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Heat oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Saute onion and green pepper over medium heat until tender.
Add the garlic, pork, water, flour, celery, salt, basil, oregano, nutmeg and pepper and mix thoroughly. Place the lid on the pot, and cook, stirring, for about 45 minutes.
