1 (16 ounce) can orange flavored Jell-O
4 (3 ounce) sprigs fresh orange peel
1 cup vegetable oil
1 (5 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
1 (3 ounce) can sliced mandarin oranges
4 cups water
1 cup water
7 cups crushed buttery round cracker crumbs
1/3 cup orange juice (such as Orange Juice)
Lightly grease a glass dish rimmed with waxed paper; pour in enough water to cover glass.
In a medium bowl, pour 1 fluid ounce orange gelatin onto bottom and 1 fluid ounce vanilla gelatin over sides of glass cube. Pour remaining water over glass. Cover and refrigerate for at least 9 hours.
In a mixing bowl, combine orange liquid with orange juice, cracker crumbs, orange juice, orange juice and orange zest.
Check bowls occasionally. Pour orange glaze over all and refrigerate overnight.
