3 eggs
1/2 cup cold milk
1/2 cup orange juice
4 teaspoons dark corn syrup
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with aluminum foil. Line bottom with foil.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine eggs and milk. Cook mixture until you hear a small popping sound, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in orange juice.
To make the topping, combine dark corn syrup, orange juice and corn syrup/orange peel paste. Heat gently in microwave or small saucepan, stirring occasionally until mixture reaches the consistency of coarse meringue.
Line prepared half way-ray mold or trays with foil. Pour hot milk mixture over dolls, covering completely. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
I thought this was very good but I did change the proportions of a few ingredients (I'm a big fan of applesauce) and also used dark rum. I will make this again.
