Ingredients

Sugarcane Shrimp Dip Recipe

1/2 pound butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons white sugar

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup grated pimento peppers

1 teaspoon grated onion

1 cup chopped green olives

1 cup sliced almonds

Directions

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in the sugar and Worcestershire mixture.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Place the shrimp in the skillet and cook over medium heat 2 minutes, or until opaque. Remove from skillet and cool on a plate.

In a medium bowl, mix the flour, pimentos, onion, green olives, almonds and green olives. Mix well.

Crush shrimp with a fork and place in a large bowl. Heat 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil in skillet over medium heat. When the shrimp are opaque with golden brown on the inside, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook . Stir together the sour cream, Parmesan cheese, flour and pimento peppers. Then drizzle with the olive oil mixture.

Toss shrimp and shrimp with the remaining olive oil mixture. Continue to toss until coated with the brown color of the shrimp. Garnish with green olives, almonds and sliced almonds.
