2 cups chopped mixed berries
2 cups chopped bananas
1 cup chopped onion
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line an 8 inch square pan with aluminum foil. Cut 12 squares into 11 pieces.
Place the berries and bananas in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, cream the butter with the eggs. Beat in 1 cup sugar and 1 cup butter, then stir into the creamed mixture. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg; mix into the creamed mixture until well blended.
Mix the flour mixture, sugar mixture and butter mixture into a large bowl. Fold in cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
