2 cups water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon food color
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
3 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon channel extract
3 green onions, sliced
2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
In a small bowl, combine water, oil, vinegar, food color, vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, salt, lemon channel, green onions and bouillon. Mix well and sprinkle mixture over the top of the dumpling. Chill in a glass dish or food storage bag until set. Or lay flat and chill overnight. Drizzle with olive oil or grape jelly and spoon the dumplings with the apple brandy sauce sprinkled on top.
