Chocolate Chip Cookies II Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/2 cup milk

3 cups all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla extract. Melt butter in large skillet or saucepan; stir in the sugar, egg and milk. Gradually add flour mixture to syrup mixture. Mix until smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.

Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely. Store cookies tightly covered in an airtight container or other freezer container.
