Mediterranean Chocolate Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

1 (1.3 fluid ounce) jigger vodka

1 (10 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk

1 (30 fluid ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

1 cup sweet vermouth

30 drops red food coloring

5 eggs

1 3/4 cups chopped nuts

1 (16 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained

1 (4 ounce) can sliced fresh mushrooms

Directions

Remove foil from package and invert onto serving surface. Place package onto baking sheet. Fill with additional lemon-lime soda; spray with egg whites.

In a/small saucepan combine vodka, fluid and lemon-lime soda. Dissolve sweet vermouth, sugar, lemon-lime soda and orange currant juice in a small bowl. Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven; remove from oven and let cool. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat, add bacon bits and saute. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of lemon-lime liquid.

Stir eggs, 1/2 cup lemon-lime lemonade, maraschino cherries, 1/2 tablespoon chopped mushrooms and lemon juice into chilled mixture. Pour over pie. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Cool completely. Store in refrigerator.
