6 1/3 cups refined sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda remixed with salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup cornflakes cereal cereal
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper; pinch side up if necessary.
Remove wrapper from cookie sheets. In a medium bowl, whip sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and baking soda; stir into the white sugar mixture until evenly blended. Mix in cornflakes cereal. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, glaze with water, and let cool on the baking sheets. When cool, freeze.
