1/2 cup butter
4 cups honey
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup corn syrup
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
4 cups sliced almonds
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the honey, brown sugar, white sugar, flour, corn syrup, oil and baking powder. Mix in the honey, vanilla and walnuts.
Pour mixture into a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Transfer to a saucepan and stir in almonds and walnuts.
Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer over low heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Pour into 2 quart saucepan and stir in brown sugar mixture. Bring off heat, and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
