1 1/2 cups margarine
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sour milk
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place the margarine, sugar, corn syrup, egg, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix well.
In a large bowl, cream together the flour, sour milk, and lemon juice until smooth. Stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for a couple of minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
